Real name Jo-Vaughn Virginie Scott, American rapper Joey Badass (or, stylized, Joey Bada$$) was born in New York's Brooklyn neighborhood on January 20, 1995. Discovered in 2010 when he was just fifteen, he was part of the Pro Era collective. With his colleagues, he successively recorded the mixtapes The Secc$ Tape and P.E.E.P: The aPROcalypse in 2012. He also collaborates with Mac Miller and A$AP Rocky and releases his own mixtapes: 1999 and Rejex are released the same year, followed by Summer Knights in 2013. It wasn't until 2015 that Joey Bada$$ reappeared with a debut album entitled B4.DA.$$. Two years later, All-Amerikkkan Bada$$ was released, featuring J. Cole, Schoolboy Q, Styles P and Chronixx.
