Ji Suyeon (수연), born April 20, 1997 in Goyang, South Korea, is a South Korean singer-songwriter and musical actress. She debuted in the entertainment industry as the leader and main vocalist of the girl group Weki Mekiunder Fantagio, officially debuting on August 8, 2017 with the mini album Weme. In 2019, she showcased her vocal talents on the survival show V-1, and later participated in Artistock Game in 2022, further solidifying her presence as a capable performer. Following Weki Meki’s quiet disbandment in August 2024, Suyeon parted ways with Fantagio in November and signed with Bomnal Entertainment in early 2025 to begin her solo career. She made her solo debut on May 29, 2025 with the digital single “A Fish Gone to the Forest”, marking a new artistic chapter. Known for her emotional voice and expressive stage presence, she also expanded into musical theater. Her discography includes collaborations like “FM201.8-04Hz : Language” with the late Moon Bin and multiple original soundtrack (OST) contributions, including “Even Better” and “I’ll Let You Go”. Ji Suyeon continues to evolve as a versatile artist, blending music and acting in her post-idol career.
