Born in Marcory, a district of Abidjan in Côte d'Ivoire, Jeune Lion is a Franco-Ivorian rapper of German origin. He grew up listening to reggae and dancehall, which had a profound influence on his inspiration, referencing Rastafari lyrics. Equipped with other African musical influences, he launched into rap, appearing on platforms in 2021 with the track "J U D A", prior to the release of his debut album, Before Babylone Burnt (2022). A predominantly Francophone performer with Anglophone references, as indicated by his second album Highly Spiritual in 2023, Jeune Lion achieved viral success with the track "Soul". 2024 saw the release of the albums S/O Dieu and Rule Mi Heart, followed in 2026 by Babylone Brûle.
