Jeong Yeo-Jin

Jeong Yeo-jin, born on March 22, 1972, in Seoul, is a South Korean singer best known for her iconic voice in animation theme songs and children’s music. For over 30 years, she has been a defining figure in Korean animation soundtracks, rivaling Kim Guk-hwan in recognition, with beloved performances in classics like Frog Wangguni, Anne of Green Gables, Digimon, Da! Da! Da!, and Cardcaptor Sakura. Even those unfamiliar with her name or face often recognize her voice from countless TV and radio commercials, most famously the Pocari Sweat jingle. Her long-standing influence spans generations from the 1970s to the 2000s. In recent years, she has remained active through crowdfunding projects, including the successful release of her album Happy Ending in 2025. She also organized the 2nd Jeong Min-seob Music Festival in 2023, continuing her legacy in both nostalgic and contemporary music.
