JayO is a Tottenham-born Afrobeats artist who has emerged as one of the most exciting new voices in the global scene. After partnering with RzBeats on the 2019 single "Freaky," he merged R&B and Afro-pop on his 2022 solo debut âXOâ and 2023âs breakout offering â22," which reached number 32 on the UK's official singles chart. The success of the single led to a deal with Londonâs 0207 Def Jam, and the singles âBackâ and âOften" followed in 2023. In 2024, he released his debut EP WHOSDAT, which featured guest appearances from Popcaan and Odeal.
