IâZAX, formed in Bangkok in 1999 by lead vocalist Petchpan Pannam, emerged from a university music collective that included drummer Jaturong Nithiamong and guitarist Pongsaphat Thongcharoen. The bandâs debut single "à¸à¸à¸à¹à¸¡à¹à¸à¸±à¸à¸«à¸±à¸§à¹à¸" from the album à¸à¸à¸£à¸±à¸à¸à¸±à¸ (2002â11â12) topped the national radio charts, establishing the groupâs presence in the Thai rock scene. Subsequent releases followed a clear chronology: à¹à¸à¸à¸¶à¸à¹à¸ (2004â01â15) introduced hits such as "à¹à¸à¸µà¸¢à¸à¹à¸à¹à¸«à¹à¹à¸à¹à¸à¹à¸à¸¥à¸"; Tag Team (2005â11â15) featured "à¹à¸à¸´à¸à¹à¸" and "à¸à¸²à¸à¸à¸§à¸²à¸¡à¸¡à¸±à¹à¸à¹à¸"; IâZax Songs Hitz (2007â04â27) compiled twelve chartâtopper tracks, including the original "à¹à¸à¸·à¹à¸à¹à¸à¸", and marked the bandâs final release before a temporary disbandment after contract expiration with GMM Grammy. The group reâemerged in 2017 without label affiliation, issuing singles "ยัà¸à¸£à¸±à¸à¸à¸±à¸" and "à¸à¹à¹à¸¡à¹à¸£à¸¹à¹â¦à¸à¸°à¸£à¸±à¸à¹à¸à¸à¸³à¹à¸¡", and in 2024 signed with Battery Music, returning guitarist Pongsaphat and releasing a rearranged version of "à¹à¸£à¸·à¹à¸à¸à¸à¸à¸à¸«à¸±à¸§à¹à¸".
