In Mourning

In Mourning is a Swedish melodic death metal band from Vansbro formed in 2000. They released several self-produced demos, including Senseless (2002) and Confessions of the Black Parasite (2004). Their debut album Shrouded Divine was released on January 2, 2008, by Aftermath Music. Their second album Monolith was released on January 25, 2010, by Pulverised Records. Their third album The Weight of Oceans (2012) entered the Finnish charts at number 40. The band experienced lineup changes, including the departure of drummer Christian Netzell in 2014. In Mourning released their fourth studio album Afterglow on May 20, 2016, followed by Garden of Storms on October 4, 2019, both through Agonia Records. Their sixth studio album The Bleeding Veil was released on November 26, 2021, under Dalapop. Their discography also includes the album The Immortal (2025).
