Created in the late 1980s by guitarist/vocalist duo Jeff Martin and John Berry, Idaho became Jeff Martin's own project after the release of the album Year After Year in 1994. Over the course of a plethoric discography (roughly one album a year until 2005's The Lone Gunman ), Martin has become one of the leaders of sadcore, a melancholy rock genre whose meanderings he seems determined not to cease exploring. After a break of several years, Idaho returns in 2011 with You Were a Dick.
