Hyunseong

Hyunseong, born Shim Hyunseong on June 9, 1993, in Seoul, South Korea, is a singer known for his work with Boyfriend. At age 12, he began his musical journey as a drummer but later shifted to singing after recognizing the popularity of lead vocalists. In 2011, Hyunseong debuted as part of Boyfriend under Starship Entertainment. The group released their first single "Let’s get it started" in May 2011 and followed up with several successful albums including I Yah (January 2013) and ALL IN (March 2015). Hyunseong also contributed to solo projects, such as the EP PLAY released on November 20, 2023. His notable singles include "But Still" (May 22, 2025), "No brake" (July 29, 2025) and "Blue" (August 4, 2022). Hyunseong's career also includes appearances in musicals like Vivaldi Park Hall (September 18 - December 6, 2015) and concerts such as the KBS Area event on June 14, 2016.
