Hwanho (화노) is a South Korean indie rock band formed under Hwan Entertainment. The four-member group—consisting of vocalist Yoo Hwan Ju, guitarist Kim Ho Jin, bassist Kim Yoon Sung, and drummer Ahn Byung Jun—debuted on September 10, 2018, with their digital single "쇼윈도". Since their debut, they have steadily built a reputation in the Korean indie and rock scene with their emotive sound and dynamic performances. Their first EP, Night (2020), showcased their atmospheric and introspective approach to rock music. In 2023, they released their second EP, Beyond, further solidifying their musical identity. Hwanho has also released several digital singles, including "Paradiso" (2019), "Taxi" (2022), and "사랑 같은 걸 해요" (2023). Their music often blends alternative rock elements with emotional storytelling, resonating with fans who appreciate both powerful instrumentals and heartfelt lyrics. The band gained wider recognition through their participation in Great Seoul Invasion, a rock survival show that introduced emerging Korean rock bands to a larger audience. As they continue to evolve, Hwanho remains dedicated to crafting authentic and compelling music, with their latest releases "Mooa" (2024) and "Run" (2025) reflecting their ongoing growth and creativity in the indie rock scene.
