American contemporary country singer Hudson Westbrook hails from Stephenville, Texas. A self-taught musician, he made a name for himself on social networks in 2024 with the track "Take It Slow", while still a student at Texas Tech University. Although he was more interested in rap in his youth, he turned to country music and learned to play guitar in 2020. His country-rock style is confirmed on the following singles: "Two Way Drive", "5 to 9" and "Dopamine". After touring outside Texas, his reputation grows with the track "House Again", which spawns a namesake EP and heralds the first album bearing the singer's name, bringing together his previous releases. He adds a touch of traditional country to tracks like "5 to 9" and "Texas Forever", which is also the title of his second album. Released in July 2025, it includes the additional singles "Mine Tomorrow", "Dressed Down", "Weatherman" and a new version of "House Again", as well as a guest appearance by MacKenzie Carpenter on "Lie to Me".
