Honeyz

Honeyz, a British girl band formed in 1997, originally consisted of Célena Cherry, Heavenli Abdi, and Naima Belkhiati. The group was discovered through auditions held by First Avenue Management and initially signed to Mercury Records under the name Essence. Their breakthrough came with their debut single "Finally Found", released in August 1998, which peaked at number 4 on the UK Singles Chart. This success was followed by another top-five hit, "End of the Line". The group's debut album Wonder No.8 was certified gold in the UK. In April 1999, Mariama Goodman replaced Abdi, who left due to personal reasons. The new lineup continued with hits like "Love of a Lifetime" and "Never Let You Down", performing at notable events including Capital Radio's Party in the Park. Despite disbanding in 2003, Honeyz reunited for various projects, including The Big Reunion reality show in 2013. The group has seen multiple lineup changes over the years, with Célena Cherry and Heavenli Abdi remaining consistent members.
