Honeyblood

Honeyblood is a Scottish indie rock project from Glasgow that formed in 2012. The project was established by the guitarist and singer-songwriter Stina Tweeddale, who originally performed as a duo alongside the drummer Shona McVicar. Their debut EP, Thrift Shop, was released (2012) and received a positive review in The Guardian. After signing with FatCat Records, they released their eponymous debut studio album, Honeyblood, (2014), which was produced by Peter Katis. McVicar left the ensemble in 2014 and was replaced by Cat Myers. They toured with acts including Foo Fighters and Courtney Barnett before releasing their second studio album, Babes Never Die, (2016). In 2019, Tweeddale announced that Honeyblood would proceed as a solo project and released the studio album In Plain Sight (2019), which reached number 14 on the Scottish charts and number 73 in the United Kingdom.
