Homer el Mero Mero

Lucas Darío Giménez, known professionally as Homer el Mero Mero, was born on June 5, 1990, in Cutral Co, Neuquen, Argentina. Influenced by his brother Enzo Tomás Giménez and The Notorious B.I.G., he began his career collaborating with C.R.O., forming the duo Bardero$ and participating in freestyle competitions. In 2016, Bardero$ released their debut album Pure Drug. Homer el Mero Mero launched his solo career with the album Solo Negocios in 2018. The following year, he released En punga, featuring notable tracks like "Domingo" and "Basado en hechos reales", which garnered millions of views on YouTube. He also collaborated with Cazzu on the single "C14TORCE". In 2020, Homer el Mero Mero contributed to the MDBCrew album La fiesta es de nosotros and was featured in Bizarrap's thirty session. In 2021, he starred in the film Panash, directed by Christoph Behl. Homer el Mero Mero continued his solo career with El mundo es tuyo in 2022, featuring artists like FMK and Tiago PZK. Bardero$ released their album Inmortales the same year, followed by a national tour culminating at Luna Park in Buenos Aires. In 2023, he launched several singles and EPs, including "Paquetes" and "Bélico", and collaborated with various artists such as Tornillo and La T y La M. In 2023 Homer issued the conceptual EP Por clave el Cabezón with a short-film trilogy and toured Mexico as a solo act. After a widely reported onstage collapse at the Párense de Manos 2 event in December 2024, he re-emerged in October 2025 with the single “Resurrección,” released through Nocita Music/Interscope, which marked a personal and artistic renewal following nearly a decade of continuous output.
