Ysy A

Alejo Nahuel Acosta Migliarini, known professionally as Ysy A, was born on July 12, 1998, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He is a rapper and composer who began his artistic journey in 2012 by creating the freestyle competition El Quinto Escalón with Muphasa MC at just 13 years old. This event became one of the most significant freestyle competitions in Argentina, launching many emerging artists in the trap scene. Ysy A's musical career officially began in January 2018 when he formed the supergroup Modo Diablo alongside Duki and Neo Pistea. Their singles "Quavo" and "Trap N' Export" popularized the trap genre in Argentina. On November 11, 2018, Ysy A released his debut album Antezana 247, which received positive reviews from both critics and audiences. His subsequent albums include Hecho a Mano (2019), Trap de Verdad (2021), and YSYSMO (2022). The latter became his most commercially successful album. In November 2023, Ysy A released El After del After, experimenting with genres like techno, EDM, guaracha, and amapiano. He then issued Trampa al Tiempo in 2024, a concept album unveiled at a sold-out pre-listening event at Estadio Obras and presented live at Estadio Ferrocarril Oeste, where he played on the idea of “tricking time” by revisiting his whole discography. In 2025 YSY A extended his international reach with Spanish collaborations like “Leal” with RVFV and “Tantas Veces” with Natos, and closed the year with Saturación Pop, his Berlin-conceived eighth album, produced entirely by Evlay and released on 11 November 2025, an 11-track set that blended European electronic textures with Argentine trap roots and included a single guest appearance by Spanish singer Lia Kali on “Tantas fotos.”
