Hombres G

Hombres G, formed in Madrid in 1982, consisted of lead vocalist and bassist David Summers Rodríguez, guitarist Rafael Gutiérrez Muñoz, guitarist and pianist Dani Mezquita Hardy, and drummer Javi Molina Burgos. Their first single, "Milagro en el Congo", released in 1983, introduced the group to the Spanish pop‑rock scene, and the follow‑up "Devuélveme a mi chica" propelled them to national prominence in 1985. The self‑titled debut album Hombres G (1985) sold over a million copies in Spain and earned the band the 1986 Bravo Award for Best Spanish‑speaking Group. Subsequent releases-La Cagaste… Burt Lancaster (1986), Estamos Locos… ¿o qué? (1987), Agitar Antes De Usar (1988), Voy A Pasarmelo Bien (1989), and Esta Es Tu Vida (1990)-expanded their catalogue and solidified their status, with Voy A Pasarmelo Bien reaching number one on Spanish charts. After the 1992 album Historia del Bikini, the group entered a hiatus that lasted until 2002, when Peligrosamente Juntos marked their return. They continued to release albums-Todo Esto Es Muy Extraño (2004), 10 (2007), Desayuno Continental (2010), En La Playa (2011), and 30 Anos y Un Dia (2015)-and issued singles such as "El Secreto de Vivir" (2010) and "Con los Brazos en Cruz" (2019).
