Heo Yujin, known professionally as H-Eugene, was born on April 6, 1979, in Republic of Korea and is recognized for his contributions to alternative hip hop, K-hip hop, and rap music. His career began with the release of his debut album Only One Way on August 29, 2006, marking a significant step into the music industry. H-Eugene's unique style and lyrical prowess quickly garnered attention in the Korean hip-hop scene. He continued to build his discography with subsequent releases such as the album H-Eugene And The Family (2008) and EPs including Fantastic Duo (October 9, 2008), love warning - EP (2009). He also released several notable singles like "Scent of a Man" (2008), "I think I love you" (2009), and "Love Series" (2009). H-Eugene is known for his collaborations with prominent K-pop stars. He worked alongside artists such as MC Mong, Teddy Park, Miryo of Brown Eyed Girls, and Yenny of Wonder Girls. In 2010, H-Eugene formed the duo H2 with singer Han Soo Yeon, further expanding his musical repertoire and reaching new audiences. The duo released several tracks that showcased their complementary styles. Following this collaboration, he continued to make an impact in Korean hip-hop with various songs including "Love Alert II" (2010) and "ADIOS" (2014).
