Hello Seahorse!

Hello Seahorse! is a Mexican alternative rock band formed in Mexico City in 2005. They began their career by releasing the debut EP ...and the Jellyfish Parade (2006), which included the single “Squarehead” (2008). They gained early recognition by performing at the Festival Manifest (2006). In 2007, they released the EP Hoy a las Ocho (2007), followed by performances at the MX Beat Festival and South by Southwest in 2008. Their debut album, Bestia (2009), featured a collaboration with Chetes and included the single “Bestia” (2009), which reached number 5 on the Reactor radio chart. Denise Gutiérrez is the lead vocalist. Discography releases include Lejos. No Tan Lejos (2010), Arunima (2012), Disco Estimulante (2020), and HÍPER (2023). They also issued the EP Entretanto (2016).
