Hello Seahorse!

Hello Seahorse! is a Mexican rock band formed in Mexico City at the end of 2005. The group began their career by releasing their debut EP ...And the Jellyfish Parade in July 2006, which included the single "Squarehead". They gained early recognition by performing at the Festival Manifest 2006. In 2007, they released their second extended play Hoy a las Ocho, followed by notable performances at the MX Beat Festival and South by Southwest in 2008. Their debut album, Bestia (2009), featured collaborations with Chetes and Lo Blondo, and included the hit single "Bestia", which reached number 5 on Mexico's Reactor radio chart. Hello Seahorse! continued the run with Lejos, No Tan Lejos (2010) and Arunima (2012), and later issued the EP Entretanto (2016) before returning with Disco Estimulante (2020) and HÍPER (2023). In 2024 they documented their stage show with the live release Live Act (Live) and collaborations such as “My, My” with Dear Boy, then in 2025 rolled out a new single run including “EZ Boy,” “Drama,” “Montaña,” “16,” “Corre,” and “Imagínate” featuring Leo Rizzi. Montaña, their sixth full-length, arrived in late January 2026.
