Hedley

Hedley, a Canadian pop‑rock group formed in Abbotsford, British Columbia in 2003, began with Jacob Hoggard after his third place on Canadian Idol in 2004. The band signed with Universal Music Canada and released their self‑titled debut Hedley on 26 September 2006, reaching number three on the Canadian Albums Chart and earning double platinum certification. Subsequent albums-Famous Last Words (2007), The Show Must Go (2009), Storms (2011), Wild Life (2013), Hello (2015), and Cageless (2017)-produced hits such as "Kiss You Inside Out", "Anything", and "Love Again", with the former peaking at number two on the Canadian Hot 100 and going triple platinum. Hedley received multiple Juno nominations, toured North America, and headlined the 101st Grey Cup halftime show. In February 2018, following sexual misconduct allegations, the group entered an indefinite hiatus; Jacob Hoggard was convicted of sexual assault in 2022.
