Health

Health is an American industrial and noise rock band formed in Los Angeles, California, in 2005, with founding members Jake Duzsik (vocals, guitar), John Famiglietti (bass, electronics), and B.J. Miller (drums). The group first attracted attention with a remix of Crystal Castles’ “Crimewave” in 2007, followed by their self‑titled debut Health released the same year. Their early releases Health//Disco (2008) and Disco2 (2010) established a remix‑centric approach, while the 2009 album Get Color expanded their sonic palette. In 2012, Health composed the soundtrack for Max Payne 3, earning a nomination for Best Score at the Spike Video Game Awards. Subsequent albums-Death Magic (2015), Vol. 4 :: Slaves of Fear (2019), Rat Wars (2023), and Conflict DLC (2025)-showed a shift toward electronic and melodic elements, with singles such as "New Coke" and "Hateful" gaining traction. Collaborations with Nine Inch Nails, Poppy, and Chelsea Wolfe, and contributions to video game soundtracks like Cyberpunk 2077 and GTA V, underscore Health’s continued relevance in both music and gaming industries.
