Hanna Salzenstein

Born in 1995, cellist Hanna Salzenstein studied with Raphaël Pidoux at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Paris and performed with orchestras of international stature, before distinguishing herself through her recordings. Collaborating with the ensembles Le Consort and Les Ombres, she formed the Trio Dichter with Théotime Langlois de Swarte and Fiona Mato, who recorded the album An Invitation to the Schumanns (2023). However, it is in the Baroque repertoire that she flourishes in her own critically acclaimed recitals. É il violoncello suonò, released by Mirare in 2024, was followed by Concerti per violoncello (2025), featuring three concertos by Vivaldi and works by Gabrielli, Antoniotto, Sanguinazzo, Dall'Abaco, Piatti and Jacchini.
