HANGRY&ANGRY, also stylized as hANGRY&ANGRY, was a Japanese visual kei music and fashion project born from the collaboration between fashion designer h.NAOTO and former Morning Musume members Hitomi Yoshizawa (HANGRY) and Rika Ishikawa (ANGRY). Originating in 2004 as a character brand designed by illustrator GASHICON, the project expanded into music in 2008 with the debut of the duo. Their MySpace debut that October rapidly gained traction, surpassing 100,000 views in just four days and hitting one million views soon after, marking a milestone in MySpace Japan's history. On November 19, 2008, HANGRY&ANGRY released their indie debut mini-album Kill Me Kiss Me simultaneously in Japan, the U.S., and South Korea. Their international presence grew when they headlined Sakura-Con in Seattle in April 2009, making their U.S. live performance debut. Later that year, the release of their full-length album *Sadistic Dance* revealed their identities, confirming long-standing speculation. Between 2011 and 2012, the project continued under the name HANGRY&ANGRY-f. One of their notable tracks during this period was âReconquistaâ(2011).
