DEF.DIVA was a special vocal unit under Hello! Project was formed in 2005 with former Morning Musume members Natsumi Abe, Maki Goto, Rika Ishikawa, and solo singer Aya Matsuura. Their debut single, "Suki Sugite Baka Mitai", was released on October 19, 2005, and debuted at number one on the Oricon Weekly Singles Chart. DEF.DIVA also collaborated with the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles, releasing "LET'S GO Rakuten Eagles"(2006) as their official 2006 cheer song. They later joined WaT and other Hello! Project members as official supporters for the 2006 Volleyball World Championship. After Gotoâs departure from Hello! Project in 2007, the group effectively went on hiatus.
