Grégoire

Launched by the community label MyMajor Company, Grégoire (born Grégoire Boissenot on April 3, 1979) is the first artist in France to be "produced by the public", thanks to fund-raising on the Internet. The original initiative, seen at the time as an opportunity to save the record industry, led to the success of the album Toi + Moi (2008), following on from the huge success of the hit of the same name. After this million-selling debut, Grégoire returned to the forefront of the music scene with Le Même Soleil (2010), on which Jean-Jacques Goldman collaborated. After a three-year wait and a project dedicated to Sainte-Thérèse de Lisieux, Thérèse, Vivre d'Amour, audiences remained loyal to him for his third album Les Roses de Mon Silence (2013). In 2015, he dedicated his fourth album Poésies de Notre Enfance, made available to teachers under a free license, to the young audience of schoolchildren. Two years later, his fifth album À Écouter d'Urgence was released. The following year, he was commissioned to write the musical Bernadette de Lourdes, inspired by the life of Bernadette Soubirous, the record to be released in 2019. Also in 2018, he released a double album, Experiences . The conceptual album features ten electro tracks and eight piano-vocals. In January 2022, Grégoire released Live , an album recorded live in studio 1719 . Four years later, he returned to the studio to finalize Vivre, released in January 2024. The album is promoted by the title track, unveiled in electric and acoustic versions, and by the title track "Le Monde est à nous".
