Greeicy, whose full name is Greeicy Yeliana Rendón Ceballos, was born on October 30, 1992 in Cali, Colombia. At the age of five, she moved with her family to Bogotá. Art was an important part of her life during childhood, as she took singing, acting, piano, flute and guitar lessons. She demonstrated her talents when she took part in the TV talent show Factor Xs in 2007. She was eliminated from the competition, but this exposure enabled her to be spotted and she joined the cast of Cuando Salga el Sol, a telenovela. The following year, she took part in another series, La Pola . She followed this up in 2011 with roles in Correo de Inocentes and ¿Dónde está Elisa? Two years later, she was cast in the series Chica Vampiro , and in 2014, in La Ronca de Oro and Los Años Maravillosos . Her TV career continued in 2017 with Vengenza, an adaptation of the American series Revenge . That same year, the artist diversified and made her musical debut in a Latin pop register. She released a first series of singles: "Brindemos", "Error" and "Despierta ". But it was with a duet that she scored her first success: "Amantes", recorded with Mike Bahía. It reached No. 3 in her country, and No. 1 in Mexico. Following this positive reception, Greeicy puts the finishing touches to her first studio album, Baila, whose single "Más Fuerte" reaches number four in Colombia in 2018. Shortly afterwards, she collaborates with Spanish singer and actor David Bisbal on the track "Perdón ", which is welcomed at #31 in Spain. "Jaccuzzi", a new single from Baila, was also released in 2018, reaching number 55 in Colombia, and the following year, "Destino" , recorded with Venezuelan Nacho, peaked at number 4. In 2019, "22" , a TINI track in which she takes part, extends her influence in Latin America, reaching number 5 in Ecuador and Uruguay. In 2022, the singer launched her second opus, La Carta, which spawned the hit "Los Besos " (#9 in Colombia) two years earlier. In 2023, the singer teamed up with Danny Ocean to develop the track "Zha (Yeliana - Capítulo 3)". Greeicy enriches her discography with the album Yeliana, released in February 2024, a personal project that explores maternity and female identity through tracks such as "De a Poco" and "Kai" . She then embarked on the Yeliana World Tour, performing in cities such as Barcelona, Buenos Aires and San Salvador, captivating audiences with emotionally-charged performances. In 2025, she continued to break new ground with singles such as "Efímero", "Todavía" in collaboration with Boza, and "Limonar", while also collaborating with Borja on the acoustic track "Macarrones Con Queso". Her stage presence culminated in her New Year's Eve 2025 performance in Times Square, cementing her status as a contemporary Latin pop icon.
