Geese is an American rock band from Brooklyn, New York, formed in 2016. The group consists of Cameron Winter (vocals, keyboards, guitar), Emily Green (guitar), Dominic DiGesu (bass), and Max Bassin (drums). Geese released their debut EP independently in April 2018, followed by the album A Beautiful Memory later that year. The band initially planned to disband after high school graduation but gained attention from record labels due to self-produced demos that showcased their mix of post-punk, psychedelic, and experimental rock, and signed with Partisan Records. Their second album, Projector, was released on October 29, 2021 to critical acclaim, praised for its inventive songwriting and youthful energy. Following this early success, Geese toured internationally, gaining a reputation for dynamic live performances. In 2023 they released their second album 3D Country, a record produced by James Ford that expanded their sound into more eclectic territory, incorporating country, funk, and classic rock influences while retaining the angular energy of their debut. The band continued to evolve, experimenting with genre and pushing their music in unexpected directions while maintaining their identity as one of the most distinctive new voices of the New York indie rock scene. Their fourth studio album, Getting Killed, was released on September 26, 2025, with the first single "Taxes" released on July 8, 2025.
