Fünf Sterne deluxe, a German hip-hop group formed in 1997, consisted of rappers Das Bo (Mirko Bogojevic) and Tobi Tobsen (Tobias Schmidt), designer marcnesium (Marc Clausen), and DJ Coolmann (Mario Cullmann). Prior to forming Fünf Sterne deluxe, Das Bo and Tobi Tobsen released the album Genie und Wahnsinn liegen dicht beieinander as Der Tobi & das Bo in the mid-1990s. In 1998, Fünf Sterne deluxe debuted with the album SiLLiUM, which included the singles "5 Sterne deluxe", "Willst Du mit mir gehn?", and "Dein Herz schlägt schneller". The album and its singles charted successfully, selling over 150,000 copies. In 2000, they released their second album Neo.Now after retreating to a house by the Baltic Sea for three months. This album sold over 120,000 units but did not match the success of SiLLiUM. The group disbanded in 2004 following DJ Coolmann's departure and released their final EP Wir sind im Haus that same year. In 2017, Fünf Sterne deluxe reunited to release the album Flash, with Luis Baltes replacing marcnesium as a live performer.
