Käptn Peng & Die Tentakel von Delphi

Käptn Peng & Die Tentakel von Delphi is a German alternative hip-hop band formed in 2012, consisting of Robert Gwisdek (Käptn Peng) and Johannes Gwisdek (Shaban) as singers. The brothers had previously performed together under the names Shaban & Käptn Peng before founding Käptn Peng & Die Tentakel von Delphi with three additional musicians. Their debut album, Expedition Ins O, was released on April 12, 2013, via their own label Kreismusik and featured a blend of funk-rock and alternative sounds. The band's unique style includes the use of unconventional instruments such as household items. In February 2017, they announced their third album Das Nullte Kapitel, which was released on May 19, 2017. Notable singles include "Der Anfang ist nah" (released March 29, 2013) and "Wobwobwob" (released March 10, 2017). The band has also released several EPs and soundtracks, including Drachendressur in 2019.
