Falling Up

Falling Up are an American alternative rock and experimental rock band from Albany, Oregon, formed in October 2001. The ensemble includes members Jessy Ribordy, Jeremy Miller, Nick Lambert, Daniel Elder, and Josh Shroy. The group released their debut studio album, Crashings, on February 24, 2004. The record sold over 50,000 units by the end of that year and featured the Number 1 singles “Broken Heart”, “Escalates”, and “Bittersweet”. The band subsequently released Dawn Escapes (2005), the remix album Exit Lights (2006), and Captiva (2007). Following the release of Fangs! in 2009, the group became inactive in January 2010. Falling Up resumed activity as an independent ensemble later that year. The band released Your Sparkling Death Cometh (2011) and the project The Machine De Ella (2012), which included the albums Hours and Midnight on Earthship. After releasing the self-titled album Falling Up in 2015, the ensemble became inactive before resuming activity for the 2024 project The Chilling Alpine Adventure.
