Faetooth is a doom metal band from Los Angeles, formed in 2019. Self-defined as practicing "fairy doom", their music fuses elements of doom, black metal, shoegaze and sludge, creating a haunting, introspective atmosphere. The band currently consists of Ari May (guitar, vocals), Jenna Garcia (bass, vocals) and Rah Kanan (drums). Ashla Chavez Razzano was part of the band as guitarist and vocalist until 2023. Their debut EP, ...An Invocation, was released in 2019, followed by their debut album Remnants of the Vessel in 2022, released via the Dune Altar label. On September 5, 2025, Faetooth released their second album, Labyrinthine, via The Flenser, a record exploring themes of memory, grief and emotional vulnerability.
