Spirit Adrift

Spirit Adrift, an American heavy metal band, was formed in Mesa, Arizona in 2015 as a solo project by multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Nate Garrett. The band's debut EP Behind - Beyond and first full-length album Chained to Oblivion were released in February and October 2016, respectively. In May 2017, Spirit Adrift performed their first live show at The Rebel Lounge in Phoenix, Arizona with Gatecreeper and Pallbearer. Following this, the band embarked on North American tours supporting albums such as Curse of Conception (released October 2017) and Divided by Darkness (May 2019). Notable achievements include ranking among Kerrang!'s top ten American bands of the 2010s, and receiving critical acclaim for Curse of Conception, which landed at number 2 on Decibel's Best of 2017 list. The band released their fifth album, Ghost at the Gallows, in August 2023. The band announced they will be disbanding after their final live performance on March 20th, 2026, opening for Crowbar, Eyehategod, and Black Magnet. In April 2026, they released their sixth and final album, Infinite Illumination.
