Estelle B, a singer from Guadeloupe, has been interested in music from an early age, playing piano and guitar. She made a name for herself at the Trace Music Star 2016 competition, which she won in front of a jury presided over by Badiri "Dawala" Diakité, founder of the Wati B label dear to Maître Gims, Black M, Lefa and Barack Adama, former members of Sexion d'Assaut. So it was only natural that the singer, aged just seventeen, joined the collective and released her first single, "Dernier jour", in 2016, in an R&B style borrowing her flow from rap. The track, included on the soundtrack of the film La Pièce alongside songs sung by Youssoupha, MZ, KeBlack and Samy Nacéri, gained notoriety and made Estelle B one of the revelations of the year.
