Espinoza Paz

Espinoza Paz, born Isidro Chávez Espinoza on October 29, 1981, in La Angostura, Sinaloa, Mexico, is a prolific singer-songwriter who has significantly influenced Regional Mexican music. He began composing songs at the age of 11 and gained early recognition when established artists like El Coyote recorded his compositions, including "Besitos en el Cuello," "Prohibido," and "Para Impresionarte." In 2008, he released his debut studio album El Canta Autor del Pueblo, featuring the standout track "El Próximo Viernes," which reached number 14 on Billboard's Hot Latin Tracks chart. His 2009 follow-up, Yo No Canto, Pero Lo Intentamos, included hits like "Lo Intentamos" and "Ponte en Mi Lugar," solidifying his status in the genre. The 2010 album Del Rancho Para el Mundo featured "Al Diablo Lo Nuestro" and earned a Latin Grammy nomination. In 2011, Canciones Que Duelen debuted at number 1 on Billboard's Top Latin Albums chart, with singles such as Para "No Perderte" and "Fuiste Mía Alguna Vez." After a brief hiatus due to legal disputes, Espinoza Paz returned with the 2016 mariachi album Las Facturas del Destino. In 2018, he independently released four albums: Las Compuse Para Ti, A Veces, Literalmente, and Mujer. 2024 saw the release of the albums Corazón and Moreno Natural, featuring tracks like "La Mitad de la Mitad" and "Es Muy Tarde." In 2025, he released Siempre, continuing his exploration of romantic themes. Espinoza Paz has also contributed theme songs to telenovelas, such as "Mi Venganza" for La Desalmada (2021) and "La Esperanza" for Tierra de Esperanza (2023). Throughout his career, he has collaborated with artists like Jenni Rivera, Carín León, and Banda MS, and has written thousands of songs for various performers.
