Banda Los Recoditos

Banda Los Recoditos is a Mexican banda group from Mazatlán, Sinaloa, formed in 1989 by young musicians connected to the Banda El Recodo circle; in its early lineup were future stars such as Alfonso “Poncho” Lizárraga and Pancho Barraza. The group’s first recording phase in the 1990s produced albums such as A Bailar de Caballito (1990), but after a period of changes and interruption, the project was reactivated in 1999 and entered a new stage with Como la Primera Vez (2001). During the 2000s and early 2010s, Banda Los Recoditos became one of the most durable names in banda through albums including Si No Existieras (2004), Vengo a Decirte (2007), ¡Ando Bien Pedo! (2010), A Toda Madre (2011) and El Free (2013), while songs like "¡Ando Bien Pedo!" helped establish them on Billboard’s Regional Mexican charts. Their commercial peak continued with Sueño XXX (2014), Me Está Gustando (2015), Los Gustos Que Me Doy (2017) and Perfecta (2019), and they won the Latin Grammy for Best Banda Album for El Free in 2013 and again for Los Gustos Que Me Doy in 2018. They also marked a major live milestone in 2016 with their first performance at Mexico City’s Auditorio Nacional. In the 2020s, the group remained active with Vivir La Vida (2021) and ¿En Qué Les Molesta? (2023), earned another Latin Grammy nomination for Me Siento a Todo Dar (2022), and kept extending their catalog with the 2025 albums Se Pronostican Borracheras and ¿Qué Plan?. In 2025, "Una Peda Menos" gave Banda Los Recoditos their ninth Number 1 on Billboard’s Regional Mexican Airplay chart, and in 2026 they continued that run with singles such as "Gracias Muchas Gracias" and "En Coma Inducido," which peaked at number 34 on the Regional Mexican Airplay chart.
