Envy of None

Canaado-American supergroup Envy of None was formed in 2021 around ex-Rush member Alex Lifeson (guitar, programming), with Andy Curran (ex-Coney Hatch on bass and keyboards), solo artist Maiah Wynne (vocals, keyboards) and Alfio Annibalini (guitar, keyboards). Developing an atmospheric sound environment inspired by electronic pop and industrial rock, and served by Maiah Wynne's ethereal vocals, Envy of None signed with the Kscope label, which produced a homonymous debut album supported by the singles "Liar " and "Dumb", while the instrumental "Western Sunset" is Lifeson's tribute to his former partner Neil Peart, who passed away in 2020. After the EP That Was Then, This Is Now, released in 2023 and featuring three previously unreleased tracks and two remixes, the quartet set to work on their second album Stygian Wayz (2025), which reached No. 3 in the UK independent charts.
