Emel Müftüoğlu

Emel Müftüoğlu, born on October 14, 1961, in Izmir, Turkey, is a Turkish singer. She began her musical career in 1985, collaborating with Erdal Çelik on several albums and participating in the Turkish Eurovision Song Contest pre-selections from 1987 to 1989. Müftüoğlu's first solo album, Karlar Düşer, was released in 1990. Throughout her career, she has released numerous albums including Faka Bastın (1992), Emel'ce (1994), and Ruhun Duymaz (1995). Her notable collaborations include working with Sezen Aksu on the hit song "Hovarda" and other artists such as Harun Kolçak, Nazan Öncel, Mustafa Sandal, Kenan Doğulu, Serdar Ortaç, Doğuş, Fettah Can, Sinan Akçıl, and Davut Güloğlu. Müftüoğlu's album Emel ile Yeniden (2016) features re-recorded versions of her most famous songs.
