Berdan Mardini

Engin Karademir, known professionally as Berdan Mardini, was born on 5 November 1978 in Diyarbakır, Turkey, and is a Kurdish‑origin singer and actor. After completing secondary education in Istanbul, he began performing locally and enrolled in a bağlama course, which laid the foundation for his musical career. His breakthrough came with the 2002 release of Aman Aman, followed by the 2004 albums Türküler and Sen Varya Sen. Subsequent releases include Senden Çocuğum Olsun (2005), En İyiler (2006), and Annem Kızıyor (2006). Berdan Mardini also appeared in the television series Kurşun Yarası (2003) and the film Kolpaçino 3. Devre (2016). He participated in the 2023 season of Survivor before withdrawing.
