Em Beihold

Em Beihold – born Emily Beihold on January 21, 1999, in Glendale, California – is a singer and songwriter of American and Iranian descent. She is best known for her series of singles and videos which have been extremely successful on several social media platforms. She became interested in music as a child and by 2016, she had completed her musical education was performing live. Em Beihold released her first EP, Infrared, in 2017. She caught the attention of music promoters Live2 LCC and they began to promote her music via social media. While constantly posting on social media, she also released a series of singles including “Blink of an Eye” (2019), “City of Angels” (2020), “Drive by Lovers” featuring Peachy King (2021), and “Nobody Else.” In 2021, her single “Groundhog Day” became a viral sensation and earned her millions of streams. Her viral success led to her signing with Republic Records and releasing the single “Numb Little Bug,” which climbed to number 18 on the Billboard Hot 100. The single also made it into the Top 40 in the UK, New Zealand, and Australia. That same year, her duet with Stephen Sanchez on “Until I Found You” reached number 23 on the Hot 100 and went platinum too. Em Beihold followed up with “Fantasy” with Lauren Spencer Smith and Gayle in 2023 and collaborated with the Italian producer Meduza on “Phone.” In 2026, she released her debut album Tales of Failed Shapeshifter, featuring singles “Brutus”, “Hot Goblin” and “Scared of the Dark.”
