Electric Angels

Electric Angels was an American glam rock band from Los Angeles, formed in 1989. The group consisted of Shane Mansfield (vocals), Ryan Roxie (guitar), Jonathan Daniel (bass/songwriter), and John Schubert (drums). After relocating to New York City, Electric Angels signed with Atlantic Records and released their self-titled debut album Electric Angels in February 1990. The album featured the single "Rattlesnake Kisses," which included a music video starring Christina Applegate. Despite favorable reviews comparing them to The Replacements and Hanoi Rocks, poor promotion led to the band letting their contract expire in 1991. Their second album Lost in the Atlantic was released posthumously in early 2017 on the Demon Doll label. Electric Angels disbanded in April 1992 when Roxie returned to Los Angeles to join Gilby Clarke's solo albums for Slash's Snakepit and later Alice Cooper.
