El Chacal & Los Alpes Floreados is the musical project led by Argentine singer-songwriter Nicolás Szwarc, known for his poetic, sun-drenched storytelling that blends folk, rock, and indie pop. Since 2017, Szwarc has developed a distinctive sound marked by introspective lyrics and warm, coastal atmospheres, resulting in a prolific discography that includes Chamanismo Urbano (2017), El Elogio de la Sombra (2018), Oda al Mantra (2019), Auténticos Recuerdos del Abismo (2020), Tranki Town (2021), and Del Otro Lado (2024). A restless creative force, he has also released multiple EPs and collaborated with artists like Conociendo Rusia, Trueno, and Turf. As a founding member of the collective La Gente del Bien, alongside musicians like Fran Saglietti (Francisca y los Exploradores) and Esmeralda Escalante (Ainda), Szwarc continues to expand his artistic universe. His 2021 album, Tranki Town, inspired by his life in the coastal town of Chapadmalal, encapsulates a laid-back yet deeply reflective mood, featuring contributions from Goyo Degano (Bandalos Chinos) and Ale Álvarez (Barco).
