Edenbridge, an Austrian symphonic metal band, was formed in 1998 by guitarist and keyboardist Arne "Lanvall" Stockhammer, vocalist Sabine Edelsbacher, and bassist Kurt Bednarsky. The group's initial lineup included drummer Roland Navratil. Edenbridge signed with Massacre Records in 1999 and released their debut album Sunrise in Eden the following year. Their second album, Arcana, was released in 2001. In 2004, they released two albums: a live recording titled A Livetime in Eden and the studio album Shine. The band signed with Napalm Records in 2007 and continued to release albums including MyEarthDream (2008), which featured the Czech Film Orchestra. In 2013, they released The Bonding, followed by The Great Momentum in 2017. In 2022, the band released Shangri-La under AFM Records. They returned in 2026 with Set the Dark on Fire, released under Steamhammer label.
