Drain STH, also known as Drain, was an all-girl grunge band from Stockholm, Sweden. Formed in 1993, the group signed with MVG Records and released their debut EP Serve The Shame in 1995. Their first full-length album, Horror Wrestling, followed in 1996. Drain STH gained significant exposure through tours with notable acts such as Type O Negative, Machine Head, and Black Sabbath, and appearances at Ozzfest in 1997 and 1999. Their 1999 album Freaks Of Nature featured the track "Black", co-written by Tony Iommi of Black Sabbath, and two tracks co-written by Max Martin: "Simon Says" and "Right Through You". Despite critical acclaim and awards, including Metal Edge magazine's "Female Performers of the Year" and "Most Underrated Band" in 1999, Drain STH disbanded in 2000.
