dnvn

dnvn is the electronic alias of Puebla-born producer Donovan Ferra, who first gained recognition as one half of the duo Fallen Roses before spinning off a harder, club-leaning lane for his own phonk experiments. Early groundwork under his name included high-volume DSP activity and collaborations through Fallen Roses, while the dnvn project broke out with a 2022 update of “Calabria” featuring Lunis and Lujavo that introduced his punchy 808s, cowbells, and chopped vocals to a wider audience. He consolidated the alias in 2023 via singles such as “Tokyo Drift” featuring NIGHTMORSS and “ORACLE,” aligning his sound with drift-culture aesthetics and Brazilian-style phonk textures. In March 2024, he issued the five-track EP Phonk Vol. 1, and the same year broadened his reach with the official “Don’t Quit! (dnvn Phonk Remix)” and the collaborative single “I KNOW YOU” with Y3LLAVISION and Nito-Onna. A steady 2025 release run followed: the four-track Verão Flow EP, the Toma Saturno EP and a series of singles—“Sol e Mar,” “La Vida Es Una,” “En La Luna,” “De Sabado,” and the anime-titled “Mtg no Bachi” in multiple slowed/sped variants—cemented dnvn’s profile within the global phonk scene while keeping ties to his broader electronic output.
