DJ LBR

Born in 1970, DJ LBR soon established himself among the elite of disc jockeys when, in 1988, he became vice-champion of France at the DMC (Disco Mix Club). This distinction opened the door to Radio Star and Skyrock. He then went on to become a resident of several clubs, and so established was his reputation that he became the first French DJ to perform in the United States. In 1998, he signed with AV8 Records. This was followed by numerous collaborations with other artists on the label: Nappy Paco, Cut Killer, DJ Kool and others. Over the following decade, he opened for renowned artists such as Usher, Mary J. Blige and David Guetta. DJ LBR has released numerous mixtapes and compilations such as Urban Dancefloor, helping to popularize moomahton, a blend of ragga, reggaeton and dance.
