Deez Nuts

Deez Nuts was formed in Melbourne, Australia in 2007 by drummer JJ Peters, who had previously played in I Killed the Prom Queen. After recording a self‑produced demo in which Peters handled all instruments and vocals, the band released their debut EP Rep Your Hood in 2007 and embarked on the Drunk and Disorderly Tour with The Amity Affliction and the Daylight Curse. In 2008, Deez Nuts signed with Stomp Entertainment and issued their first full‑length album Stay True in October 2008, followed by a national tour and a European run with Bring Me the Horizon. The 2010 release This One’s For You featured guest vocals from Oli Sykes of Bring Me the Horizon and was recorded by Roman Koester. Bout It! arrived in 2013 under UNFD and Century Media, including singles such as "Band of Brothers" and "Shot After Shot". Subsequent albums Word Is Bond (2015) and Binge & Purgatory (2017) expanded the band’s catalog, and the group toured extensively, including appearances on the Vans Warped Tour in 2018. In February 2021, bassist Sean Kennedy passed away; no posthumous releases or formal recognitions have been documented. The band’s discography spans seven studio albums and one EP, reflecting a sustained presence in the Australian hardcore scene.
