Deathline International, an American industrial rock group based in Oakland, California, was formed in 1991 by composers Shawn Brice and Christian Petke. Their debut album, Reality Check, released in 1993 through COP International, fused orchestral samples with electro and heavy metal. The band's third album, Arashi Syndrom (1997), peaked at Number twenty-one on CMJ's Dance Top 25. Following Brice's departure, keyboardist G.W. Childs joined, leading to the release of their fourth album, Cybrid, in 2001. After a period of inactivity, Deathline International resumed releasing new material with the EP Eisbär (2016) and subsequent EPs including Spin Zone (2018), Breaking (2019), and Spin Zone II (2020). Their most recent album, Pax Americana, was released in 2022. Other notable EP and single include Venus Mind Trap (1995) and a cover of The Vibrators' "Troops of Tomorrow" featuring Jello Biafra from Dead Kennedys, released in 2020.
