Dead by April

Dead by April, a Swedish metal band from Gothenburg, was formed in 2007 by Pontus Hjelm and Jimmie Strimell. The group initially gained attention through leaked songs like "Lost" and "Stronger". Their self-titled album Dead by April was released in May 2009, featuring the single "Losing You". In 2011, they released the single "Within My Heart", followed by their second album Incomparable. Notable singles from this period include "Mystery" and "As A Butterfly". Dead by April achieved significant chart success with their albums, including debuting at number 2 on the Swedish album charts with Incomparable. The band also performed at major festivals such as Sonisphere Festival in Sweden and participated in Melodifestivalen in 2012.
