José David PeñÃn Montilla, known professionally as David Penn, is a Spanish DJ, producer, and remixer. He began his career in electronic music focusing on house and garage house, and in the 2000s frequently collaborated with DJ Chus. He later founded his own imprint, Urbana Recordings, and developed a long-running DJ career spanning more than 15 years. He has performed for major house music brands including Defected and Glitterbox across Europe and has appeared frequently at Defected Croatia. In 2019, Penn was awarded Best House Artist of the Year by Traxsource, and he was ranked number 10 in Traxsourceâs Top Artists of 2020.
