David Arkenstone

David Arkenstone, born on July 1, 1952 in Chicago, Illinois, is an American composer and performer. He began his musical journey playing guitars and keyboards in various high school bands while also pursuing baseball. After studying music in college and forming a progressive rock band named after himself, Arkenstone transitioned to instrumental music. His debut album Valley In The Clouds was released in 1987, marking the start of a prolific career that spans over 50 albums. Notable releases include Citizen Of Time (1990) and Atlantis (2004). Arkenstone's music was featured in various media, including video games like World of Warcraft and television broadcasts such as NBC's Kentucky Derby. He was nominated for the Grammy Awards five times.
